The Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad was founded in the yera 1961 and was set up by a group of free-thinking individuals that include space scientist Dr. Vikram Sarabhai and philanthropist Sri Kasturbhai Lalbhai and was supported by the then Chief Minister of Gujarat, Dr. Jivraj Mehta. The institute is known for its flagship PGP program and has been ranked 1 in India (NIRF) and 62 in the world by FT Rankings. Admission Process

Follow the given IIM Ahmedabad Admission Process 2022-23:-

Documents Required

• Identity card

• A printout of your GRE/GMAT/GATE/UGC-JRF Result Card.

• 10, 12, and Undergraduate Mark Sheet

• Caste Certificate (if required)

Online Mode

Steps 1 - Registration 

• Firstly go to the website of the institute 

• Now, you need to click on New Registration.

• Now fill in all the details required and provide a valid email and phone number.

• After filling out the form with the required details applicants will receive a user id and password.

Steps 2 - Form Filling

• After getting a registration number applicants can start filling out the application form.

Steps 3 – Upload Documents

• In this step, you need to upload all the scanned images of the documents.

• Now you can print out the hard copy of the Application form.

IIM Ahmedabad Admission Eligibility Criteria

• The applicants should be graduated or CA/CS degree with at least 50% marks along with a valid score in GMAT/ GRE.

• As of 31st March minimum age of the candidate must be 25 years when the program commences.

• The applicants should have 3 years of full-time work experience. 

Review of IIM Ahmedabad

The Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad is an All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) approved university. Students get placements in the reputed companies; some of the top recruiting companies that came to IIM Ahmedabad campus for recruiting candidates are- Coca-Cola, Asian Paints, ITC, Wipro, etc.

IIM Ahmedabad Admission for double-degree program

The institute has agreement with six International schools for the double-degree program. The international institute includes ESSEC Business School France, HEC, France, University of Bocconi, Italy, European Business School, Germany, University of Cologne, Germany and ESCP Europe, France.

Scholarship offered by IIIM Ahmedabad 

Special Need-based scholarship for PGP and PGP FABM: IIMA allows those who need financial assistance. The scholarship amount is decided on the annual gross family income, ownership of assets, and the number of dependents in the family. 

IIMA Exit Scholarships:

Students who graduate to become entrepreneurs get a monthly stipend of Rs 30,000. Students who join non-profit organizations are entitled to Rs 3-4 lakh PA.

SC/ST Scholarships: 

All the SC/ST students in the postgraduate programs get Rs 150 for 10 months.

Interest Waiver Scholarships: 

The MBA-PGPX course offers interest waiver scholarships of up to Rs.3 lakh based on merit.

Aditya Birla Group Scholarships:

Three merit students from PGP’s first and second years get a scholarship worth Rs 1.75 lakh PA.

OP Jindal Engineering and Management Scholarship:

No more than two students from PGP's second year are selected and awarded Rs 1.5 lakh for that year.
